Job summary

ADEC, Inc. is hiring a Behavior Consultant in Bristol, IN to support clients in residential settings through person-centered behavior management." This role focuses on improving quality of life, independence, and community participation.

You will train staff, develop plans, and review progress to adapt strategies as needed. The position is non-contract, paid 40 hours weekly and benefit eligible, with a salary range of $28.00–$30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Special Education OR licensed professional in related field.
• Completed and maintained state certification.

Responsibilities

• Helps clients improve quality of life, independence, and community participation.
• Provides specified behavior management techniques to eliminates or manage behavioral concerns.
• Develops and modifies person-centered behavior support plans based on observations and IST feedback.
• Trains IST and staff in implementing behavior support plans and addressing behavior concerns.
• Completes quarterly review of plans, determines success, and modifies plan as needed.

Education

Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Special Education OR licensed marriage/family therapist, clinical social worker, or mental health counselor
