Job summary

Northwestern Counseling & Support Services in Saint Albans, VT is seeking a Behavior Consultant to join the Collaborative Achievement Team (CAT). This full-time role focuses on ABA services for students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, including assessments and development of behavioral intervention plans.

The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in human services or a related field, with BCBA/BCABA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree; or equivalent combination of related education, training and experience.
• BCBA or BCABA’s, and experience with writing Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans are preferred.
• Will consider candidates working toward their Master’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments including functional behavior assessments.
• Create behavioral intervention plans for identified students.
• Summarize and interpret data to inform decisions.
• Facilitate monthly meetings with school staff and families.
• Provide ongoing staff support and supervision to behavior interventionists.
• Make recommendations and adjust programming.
• Coordinate with community partners and BCBA colleagues.
