Job summary

The Watson Institute’s Behavioral Health Services department is hiring a casual Behavior Consultant for the Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program based out of Wexford, PA, to work a flexible schedule that may include evening hours.

The Casual BC will develop IBHS assessments, FBAs, and individualized treatment plans, supervise BHT staff in behavior management procedures, and collaborate with families and school personnel to address challenging behaviors while ensuring thorough

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in ABA from accredited program or foreign equivalent.
• Licensed in PA as psychologist, counselor, MFT, social worker, behavior specialist, or CRNP.
• Experience with children with autism and behavior problems; 3+ years preferred.
• Knowledge of behavior principles; evidenced by experience and education.
• Experience writing and evaluating positive behavior support plans.
• Ability to move around classrooms and campus; physical requirements.
• Ability to use Crisis Management and Ukeru for safety.
• PA clearances Act 34, 114, 151 required.

Responsibilities

• Develop IBHS assessments with clients, families, and school staff.
• Develop FBA on clients.
• Create individual treatment plans with measurable goals and interventions.
• Develop data collection protocol and analyze trends.
• Supervise BHT staff in behavior management procedures.
• Consult with families and school personnel about interventions.
• Provide clinical documentation of each session.
• Develop materials to address clients’ needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
