Job summary

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in ABA or accredited equivalent (foreign degree evaluated)
  • Licensed in PA as psychologist, professional counselor, MFT, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, or CRNP
  • Experience with children with autism and behavior problems (3+ years preferred)
  • Knowledge of behavior principles evidenced by education and experience
  • Experience writing, implementing, and evaluating positive behavior support plans
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds and mobility in school settings

Responsibilities

  • Develop IBHS assessments with clients, families, and school staff
  • Develop functional behavior assessments (FBA) for clients
  • Develop individual treatment plans with measurable goals and interventions based on FBA results
  • Develop data collection protocol and analyze trends
  • Supervise BHT staff in behavior management procedures
  • Consult with families, school personnel, and community members about interventions for challenging behaviors
  • Provide clinical documentation of each session
  • Develop materials to address clients' needs
  • Other duties as assigned
