Job summary

Ireland Home Based Services is seeking an experienced Behavior Clinician to join our team, serving adults and individuals with intellectual disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum, in the Evansville metro area.

You will conduct mental health assessments, develop and implement behavior intervention plans, and collaborate with families and other providers to promote positive behavioral change and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Special Education, or Education Counseling.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within Posey, Vanderburgh, Warrick, Gibson, Pike, Spencer, and Dubois counties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments.
• Build and implement behavior intervention plans to replace negative behaviors with positive alternatives.
• Work in clients' homes, workplaces, and community spaces.
• Collaborate with families, educational providers, employers, and other service providers to create consistent strategies for clients.
• Manage a caseload of long-term cases with a minimum of 30 hours of engagement per week.
• Be available for on-call responsibilities as needed.
