Milestones Behavioral Services, LLC in Milford, CT, is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our collaborative team.

Reporting to the Clinical Director, you will supervise staff, participate in IEP meetings, develop Behavior Intervention Plans, and help drive student progress in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst Credential and CT licensure.
  • 2 years of experience providing behavior analytic services to individuals with autism or other developmental delays.
  • Meet all supervision requirements as specified by the BACB

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with Special Education Teachers and classroom team
  • Participate in the intake process for new students
  • Apply Behavior Analytic strategies to improve staff performance
  • Provide ongoing supervision as required by BACB for RBTs and/or BCaBA
  • Develop Behavior Intervention Plans and conduct Functional Behavior Assessments
  • Participate in IEP development meetings, PPTs, supervisor meetings, classroom meetings, etc.
  • Review student graphs and programming with SPED to promote progress
  • Observe programming to assess procedural integrity and progress
  • Collaborate with parents, related service providers, and LEAs
  • Other duties as assigned

Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Essential Functions of this position are:

  • Work collaboratively with Special Education Teachers and classroom team
  • Participate in the intake process for new students
  • Implement and/or oversee implementation of assessments
  • Apply Behavior Analytic strategies to improve staff performance
  • Provide ongoing supervision as required by BACB® for RBT®s and/or BCaBA®s
  • Participate in the provision of supervised field work for behavior analytic candidates as assigned
  • Develop Behavior Intervention Plans and conduct Functional Behavior Assessments
  • Participate in IEP development meetings, PPTs, supervisor meetings, classroom meetings, etc.
  • In conjunction with SPED, review student graphs and programming, making necessary modifications to promote student progress
  • Observe programming to assess procedural integrity, student progress, and make recommendations
  • Manage and assist with crisis emergency procedures
  • Model high levels of professionalism and mentor staff maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • Collaborate effectively with parents, related service providers, and Local Education Agencies (LEAs)
  • Other duties as assigned
The Minimum Qualifications And Requirements
  • Hold and maintain active Board Certified Behavior Analyst Credential® and be licensed to practice Behavior Analysis in CT
  • 2 years of experience providing behavior analytic services to individuals with autism or other developmental delays
  • Meet all supervision requirements as specified by the BACB®
  • Excellent professional, leadership, organization, and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Required to follow all safety procedures and requirements
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to physically care for young children/adolescents/teenagers, with and without the assistance of one or more designated individuals
  • Must have the physical ability to bend at the waist (up to 45 degrees), twist, and move independently between standing and kneeling positions. Requires the ability to firmly grasp objects and raise hands overhead
  • Must be able to engage in sustained physical activity such as walking, running, and shuffling in multiple directions (including backward) for several minutes
  • Ability to routinely and safely perform heavy to very heavy physical tasks associated with hands-on student management, including during emergency situations or when responding to aggressive behavior
  • Must be capable of learning and correctly demonstrating multi-step physical procedures/maneuvers to manage students independently or as part of a coordinated team
  • This position requires in-person, on-site attendance
