Job summary

Devereux in Florida is seeking a compassionate Behavior Analyst to develop and implement clients' master treatment plans within a multidisciplinary team. Based in Viera, FL, the role focuses on assessment, progress reviews, discharge planning, and reducing challenging behavior through functional communication.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis is required.

Are you interested in providing critical intervention to children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral health needs? If so, Devereux has a great opportunity for you! We are seeking to hire a compassionate individual to join our team as an Behavior Analyst.

Devereux - Florida provides programs and services for children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral and mental health or intellectual / developmental disabilities. Based in Viera, FL, this position is responsible for the development and implementation of the clients master treatment plan, works within a multidisciplinary team to review the clients treatment and goals, and assesses progress and future needs. Behavior Analyst are over the assessment and discharge planning process to establish goals for the reduction in challenging behavior, instruction in functionally equivalent responses, and functional communication.

Position Details

Pay Range: Starts at $80,000 - $91,200 / annual (BCBA).

Salary is based on relevant education and experience.

Qualifications
Education
  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis required
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst required
Experience
  • 1+ years experience developing and performing behavioral assessments and evaluating individual or unit wide programs required
  • Experience working with children and adolescent populations preferred
Other Requirements
  • Valid Florida driver's license
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to commit to a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday each day (located near the International airport in Orlando)
  • Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test and TB Test.
