Job summary

TAG MedStaffing is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral assessments, FBAs, and treatment plans for individuals with IDD in Northern Michigan, with some co-occurring mental health needs. The caseload is large and community-based.

The role blends fieldwork, office time, and remote coordination, with travel about 3 days per week. An active Michigan BCBA, master’s degree, valid license, and reliable transportation are required; agency vehicle is available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or related field.
• Active Michigan BCBA certification.
• Experience developing and implementing Behavior Support/Treatment Plans.
• Experience working with individuals with IDD and/or mental health needs.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout the Northern Michigan service area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral assessments and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Support & Treatment Plans.
• Complete regular site visits to AFC homes, residential settings, and community placements.
• Observe implementation and provide staff coaching and behavioral consultation.
• Train caregivers and direct care staff on behavioral interventions and de-escalation strategies.
• Review data and modify plans based on progress and clinical observations.
• Support individuals with higher-risk behaviors, including aggression, self-injury, elopement, and property destruction.
• Participate in person-centered planning and maintain compliant clinical documentation.
