Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; college experience or bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License is required for transportation using the school van.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivering individualized services to small groups of students.
• Collaborate with teachers to provide customized behavioral and academic support.
• Monitor student behavior and track educational progress using data.
• Support daily lesson plans and group activities.
• Use de-escalation techniques and, if necessary, assist with crisis management.
• Transport students to and from school using the school van.
