Job summary

FullBloom SESI in Elkton, MD is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs. You will work one-on-one, implement behavior plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to sustain a safe, supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities include data tracking, de-escalation, and personal care support as required, contributing to individualized education plans and student growth within a diverse classroom setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and track data on behaviors and progress.
• Utilize behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Provide personal care support as needed to students.
• Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise students and ensure safety during transitions.
