Job summary

Servco Pacific Inc. in Hawaii seeks a Beginner Technician to service and repair Servco vehicles, with factory training provided. This role supports Hawaii’s top selling vehicles and participates in a climate controlled training facility.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, servicing, inspecting, and documenting repair work; ensuring safety and quality; and attending required factory training. Requirements: AS degree in Auto Technology or equivalent, valid driver's license, ability to work 4/10

Qualifications

• Must have AS degree in Auto Technology or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmissions for various vehicle sizes.
• Must own a basic set of automotive tools.
• Able to secure ASE certification within 18 months of hire.
• 4/10 work schedule; Wed–Sat 7:00am–5:30pm.
• Toyota and Chevy repair experience and Dealertrack experience preferred.

At Servco Leeward, we provide top notch service to our customers. Our Beginner Technicians will service and repair Hawaii’s top selling vehicles, including performing a variety of bumper to bumper service/repair jobs and receive factory training.

• Document notes and recommendations on the repair order
• Inspect vehicles and advise Service Consultant of any areas of concern so customers are informed
• Ensure work is completed accurately and done safely
• Maintain and exceed minimum shop production standards
• Attend all required factory training and obtain all required certifications

Requirements

• Associate of Science Degree in Auto Technology or equivalent work experience
• Valid driver’s license and strong driving record
• Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes
• Must own a basic set of automotive repair tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to secure at least one ASE certification within 18 months of being hired
• Must be able to work a 4/10 (4 days per week, 10 hours per day) work schedule; Wednesday - Saturday from 7:00am - 5:30pm

Our Technicians are paid a competitive hourly wage and production incentive. They are also compensated for their ASE certifications and receive factory training in our climate controlled Hawaii training facility.
