Job summary

Servco Toyota Honolulu is seeking a Beginner Technician to diagnose, service, and repair Servco vehicles in a fast paced shop environment in Hawaii. You will document repair notes, inspect vehicles, and communicate concerns to the Service Consultant to ensure customer satisfaction.

This role requires an AS degree in Auto Tech or equivalent experience, a valid license, ability to work with manual and automatic transmissions, and owning basic tools.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science Degree in Auto Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with strong driving record.
• Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes.
• Must own a basic set of automotive repair tools.
• Must secure at least one ASE certification within 18 months of hire.
• Able to work a 4/10 schedule: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat 7:00am–6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose, service, and repair Servco vehicles.
• Document notes and recommendations on the repair order.
• Inspect vehicles and advise Service Consultant of any areas of concern.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and safely.
• Maintain and exceed minimum shop production standards.
• Attend all required factory training and obtain all required certifications.
