The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford is seeking a Before Care Youth Development Professional to supervise school-age youth before the school day begins. You will assist with breakfast, facilitate light activities, and ensure safe transitions to buses or other transportation.

The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, patient, and able to maintain a calm, positive environment during early-morning hours from 7 am to 9 am, Monday through Friday during the school year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervise youth during arrival, breakfast, activities, transitions and bus departure.
• Lead or support light morning activities and help youth begin their day positively.
• Follow sign-in, attendance and youth-release procedures and know bus assignments.
