YMCA Child Care Services in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking enthusiastic part-time childcare workers for the Before and After School program. You will provide care, engage children in educational activities, and help lead safe, engaging experiences in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities include connecting with participants, nurturing development, and leading activities. 18+ and school enrollment required; reliable transport and a positive, inclusive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and attending school.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Experience supervising multiple children preferred.
• Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people; handle situations kindly and fairly.

Responsibilities

• Provide childcare support Monday through Friday for the Before and After School YMCA Program.
• Engage participants with educational and age-appropriate activities to promote a safe, fun, nurturing learning environment.
• Lead safe activities and assist in implementing lessons for program participants.
