Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is hiring a Group Leader to run before- and after-school programs at Rancho Romero Elementary School and Creekside Elementary School in San Ramon, CA. Pay is $24.00 per hour, with a $300 hiring bonus.

Hours are Mon–Fri, with three shifts available and no weekends. Lead daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, Arts), keep child safety as the top priority, keep spaces clean, and build strong relationships with students, families, and school

Qualifications

• Experience with children in a high-energy, structured setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• 12 semester units from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 6 months teaching in licensed childcare.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center
