Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties is seeking a Youth Development Professional to work under the Site Coordinator, helping implement programs in Arts, Health and Life Skills, Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, and Sports, Fitness, and Recreation.

As a part-time, hourly position, you will help create a safe and fun environment where members build confidence and skills, foster relationships with youth and families, and assist with program

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Able to remain poised, positive, and energetic in a busy work environment.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks.
• High school diploma or higher.
• CPR/First Aid Card preferred.
• MMR vaccination or medical/religious exemption.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements activities for youth using existing BGCA curriculum and local initiatives.
• Works with Site Coordinator to set up community relationships benefiting the Club and members.
• Establishes a program setting that ensures health and safety of members.
• Promotes and markets programs to Club members.
• Ensures licensing regulations are followed.
• Contributes to the Club’s climate for youth development and success.
• Outreach and recruitment.
• Other duties as assigned.
