Job summary

Early Care & Education: Coppell is seeking enthusiastic and caring teachers for our after-school STEM Station program. This part-time role involves driving to pick up children from their elementary school and guiding them through engaging STEAM activities.

You will work with elementary-aged children in a supportive, fun environment, maintain safety, and collaborate with fellow staff to promote growth, curiosity, and positive behavior.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and willingness to drive a mini bus.
• Experience working with young children.
• Strong communication and patience with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Assist with a developmentally appropriate after-school curriculum.
• Document attendance and daily communications with parents.
• Collaborate with team to support students and school family.
• Supervise students during pick-up and transitions.

Early Care and Education is a locally owned and operated, nationally accredited preschool program dedicated to raising the bar in early childhood education. Our mission is to create a preschool and after-school program that exceeds state and national standards while allowing children to thrive, explore, and learn through play. We prepare children not only to excel academically but also to develop a lifelong love of learning.

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring teachers to be positive role models for our elementary-aged children in our after-school program, STEM Station. This teacher would be a driver to pick up children from their elementary school. This is a part-time postion.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  
• Valid Texas driver’s license and willingness to drive a mini bus (after-school teachers only)
  
• Experience working with young children
  
• Ability to bend, stoop, and run to keep up with active young children
  
• Strong communication and interaction skills with children and parents
  
• Compassion, respect, and patience for young children
  

Teacher Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment
  
• Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth
  
• Document attendance records, food program compliance, developmental milestones, accident reports, and daily communication with parents
  
• Use positive guidance techniques through the implementation of Conscious Discipline
  
• Collaborate respectfully and professionally with other team members to ensure the success of the children and the school family
