Key Responsibilities

Transportation (Before/After School & Field Trips)

Safely operate a 14‑passenger MFSAB/non‑CDL bus for daily routes and special events.
Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections; maintain cleanliness and readiness of the bus.
Follow all Texas Child Care Licensing transportation regulations.
Ensure proper child loading/unloading procedures, seat belt usage, and attendance checks.
Maintain calm, positive communication with children during transport.
Coordinate with front office staff regarding route changes, absences, and scheduling.

Classroom Teaching & Childcare

Support lead teachers in implementing daily curriculum and classroom activities.
Supervise children with warmth, patience, and attentiveness.
Assist with lesson preparation, learning centers, and hands‑on activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
Support behavior management strategies aligned with school policies.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events as needed.

Qualifications

Required

Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record.
