Job summary

Innovation Learning in Aurora, CO is hiring a Head Coach for our on-site after-school programs. You will lead daily operations, provide engaging enrichment, and foster a safe, welcoming environment for students.

The role demands energy, strong organization, and the ability to collaborate with families and school partners. Part-time shifts run 6:30–8:00 AM and 3:15–6:00 PM, five days a week, across multiple sites in the district.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in education, childcare, youth development, recreation, or a related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead staff while actively engaging with children.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily program operations and ensure a positive experience for students.
• Facilitate engaging enrichment, academic support, recreation, and character-building activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming program environment.
• Manage student attendance, transitions, and dismissal procedures.
• Supervise and coach site staff; provide training and feedback.
• Build relationships with families and school personnel.
• Represent the organization professionally within the school community.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing and company policies.
• Maintain accurate program records and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and behavioral concerns.
