Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs seeks a School-Age Childcare Assistant Site Director for Bethel and Penn-Bernville Elementary Schools for the 2026-2027 year. Responsibilities include leading activities, supervising staff, and ensuring safety and compliance with PA regulations.

Position supports school-age program operations with morning and/or afternoon hours. Compensation ranges from $16 to $18 per hour, with employer-paid childcare benefits and part-time, non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus relevant experience working with children under 13
• Strong leadership and communication skills are required
• Must pass a full background check and be medically fit for duties

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL school-age regulations
• Maintain child and staff files, attendance records, and required documentation onsite
• Keep the program organized and audit-ready
• Lead engaging activities (STEAM, fitness, academics, arts, homework support) and supervise children and staff
• Oversee daily attendance, registration, and scheduling; liaise between families, school administration, and the main office
