Job summary

AlphaBEST Education seeks a proactive Site Director for after-school programs in Norman Public School District. Lead daily operations, staffing, and licensing compliance while delivering engaging activities within state guidelines. CDA or Master Teacher certification is preferred, along with school-age program leadership experience.

You will oversee curriculum implementation, safety, and family relations, coordinating with school staff to support student success in a dynamic after-school setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• Active CDA Certification or Master Teacher Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations: schedules, ratios, staffing, documentation.
• Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards.
• Prioritize child safety at all times.
• Ensure licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections.
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements.
• Supervise and mentor the site team, providing coaching and ensuring training compliance.
• Represent AlphaBEST professionally at school and community events.
• Build strong relationships with families, staff, and AlphaBEST leadership.

Location: Various Elementary schools within Norman Public School District

Schedule: *** Monday-Friday *** No weekends!!!***

AM shift 6:15 am - start of school/breakfast and/or PM shift 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Here is what you will need:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred

You can meet the requirements for a Master Teacher/ CDA Certification in one of the following ways:

• CDA Certification
• CCP Credential
• 12 credit hours in ECE/CD/SA through CECPD
• Oklahoma Certificate of Mastery
• 1050 hours of training and take the Master Teachers test (Must show proof of certificate)

In this role, you will:
