Job summary

EdAdvance in Connecticut seeks a dedicated Site Coordinator to supervise the daily operation of the before and after school program at New Fairfield Elementary School. You will ensure a safe, welcoming environment and build positive relationships with families, children, and school personnel.

Responsibilities include following Office of Early Childhood licensing regulations, managing registrations, and coordinating setup and teardown.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 6 credits in Early Childhood Education or related field, or the ability to complete OEC Head Teacher Certification.
• Experience working with school-aged children.
• Knowledge of Child Development.
• Awareness of Age-Appropriate curriculum activities.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Site Coordinator supervises and organizes site operation of before and after school program on a daily basis.
• Supervise children and provide a safe, welcoming environment.
• Maintain positive relationships with families, children, and school personnel.
• Know and follow Office of Early Childhood Child Care Center licensing regulations.
• Maintain student registrations and paperwork.
• Set up and clean up of program site.
• First Aid/CPR/Meds Admin certification to be acquired within 3 months of hire.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
• Regular and consistent attendance is considered an essential function of this position.
