Job summary

Madison is seeking a Before and After School Program Counselor to assist the Site Supervisor in planning and running activities for elementary students. You will supervise participants indoors and outdoors, manage attendance, help with snacks and safety checks, and coordinate weekly events and special trips.

This role requires a high school diploma, being at least 18, and current first-aid and CPR certifications, with a focus on providing a safe, engaging program for children.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Supervisor in designing and organizing activities for Before/After School site.
• Observe and interact with participants daily.
• Supervise participants indoors and outdoors as assigned.
• Assist in taking daily attendance.
• Help with snacks and ordering as needed.
• Run a special event at least weekly for the children.
• Safety and cleanliness checks of the area.
