Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for Mason Elementary School in Mason, NH, for the 2026–2027 school year. The role supports before and after school activities following our curriculum and engages children in safe, structured play.

The position is part-time, non-exempt with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour, following the school calendar. Morning and afternoon shifts are available to match the school day.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Required health clearance (TB screening) in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
