Job summary

Wilton School District Continuing Education - Wilton, Connecticut invites applications for an Instructor, Childcare Program to support before- and after-school activities for K–5 students. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children and a love for helping them learn.
• Great communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive, flexible attitude and ability to collaborate with instructors, parents, students and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and safe.
• Help maintain structure and routine in daily program activities.
• Use positive guidance and redirection to support good behavior and build confidence.
• Encourage and assist students with crafts throughout the year.
• Supervise homework and reading time for students in grades 3–5.
• Lead gym activities three afternoons per week and ensure safety.
