Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for Mason Elementary School in Mason, NH for the 2026–2027 school year. The role supports morning and/or afternoon programs, providing a safe, engaging environment for children ages 5–12.

Responsibilities include leading activities from our curriculum, supervising children, and coordinating with school staff. Flexible schedule aligned with the school calendar; part-time, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older with High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Health clearance including TB screening required.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, art, homework).
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model.
• Observe state guidelines and program policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing.
