Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before & After School Program at Mason Elementary School in Mason, NH for the 2026–2027 school year. The role follows the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon shifts.

You'll support children aged 5–12 through engaging activities, supervision, and a positive role model presence, while maintaining safety and program guidelines. This part-time, non-exempt position offers employer-paid childcare and other benefits.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred.
• Health clearance including TB screening as required by state.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, reliability.
• Able to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, arts, and homework.
• Provide a safe, healthy environment and act as a positive role model.
• Observe state guidelines and program policies.
• Support attendance, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
