Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Crothersville Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. Part-time, non-exempt position with a pay of $14.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include facilitating activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment, and supporting program operations in alignment with state and school policies. We offer employer-paid childcare, telehealth, vision and dental coverage, AFLAC, 401(k), paid

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience working with kids preferred
• Required health clearance, including TB screening
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework)
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and be a positive role model
• Observe state guidelines and program policies
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing
