Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring Pre-K Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Programs at DB Bunce Elementary School in Pavilion, NY, or Naples Elementary School in Naples, NY, for the 2026–2027 school year.

Paid hourly roles with morning and afternoon shifts, opportunities for both, and employer-paid childcare benefits are available. Join a mission-driven team delivering engaging activities to school-age children.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Early Childhood/Child Development.
• Credential or coursework with experience requirements as listed.
• Formal credential alignment with the preschool development period.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academics, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and serve as a positive role model for children.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Education

Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field

Child Development Associate Credential or related credential with 1 year of experience

9 Credits in Early Childhood with plan of study leading to Associates or credential (with 2 years of experience)
