Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County (Ohio) is seeking staff to supervise elementary students across Alliance, Northwest, Canton City, Jackson, North Canton, Lake (Hartville), Louisville, Perry, Plain and Minerva school districts. Hours: M-F 6-9am and/or 2:30-6:30pm (varies by district). Pay: $12.35/hr.

Roles include leading activities and ensuring safety, with partnership with families and school staff. Qualifications: must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Completed high school or GED program.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities with students in grades K-5 including arts and crafts, sports, STEM, character education, and social-emotional skills.
• Supervise safety and proper conduct to create a positive experience.
• Partner with parents, school staff, and other adults to foster a supportive environment.
• Execute State Licensing and Step Up to Quality requirements to provide quality care.
