Job summary

KIPP St. Louis is seeking a Part‑time Site Coordinator for the Before & After Care program to lead daily operations and foster a joyful, safe environment. You will support staff, organize small‑group activities, and engage families to extend learning beyond the school day.

This 10‑month, grant‑funded role (20–25 hours/week) emphasizes equity, inclusion, and community partnership, with a focus on access and belonging for all students.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in youth development, education, or program coordination strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent or higher.
• 2+ years of experience in education, youth programming, or community engagement.
• Proven track record of managing teams, designing youth programs, and driving student success.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and implementing equity‑focused practices.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and strategic planning abilities.
• Ability to coach and develop staff in an identity‑affirming, student‑centered environment.
• Deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and eliminating barriers to student success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily execution of a safe, joyful, and well‑organized Before & After Care program.
• Lead and manage program staff, including scheduling, role clarity, and performance support.
• Guide and support planning of small‑group experiences for Reading, Math, or Social‑Emotional Learning specialists that strengthen students’ academic and social‑emotional development.
• Ensure all systems for arrival, transitions, dismissal, and emergency response run smoothly and reliably.
• Build strong relationships with families, ensuring they feel informed, engaged, and supported in their child’s extended learning experience.
