Job summary

Buehler's Fresh Foods is seeking an hourly assistant to the Team Lead in the Beer, Wine and Liquor Department. This role supports ordering, stocking, pricing, merchandising and customer relations on the salesfloor with an emphasis on suggestive selling.

You must be willing to comply with state regulations regarding sale of spirituous liquor and be available for 35+ hours per week, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Availability: Must be scheduled 35+ hrs per week, including nights and weekends.
• Previous Experience: Beer & Wine department experience preferred.
• Physical Demands: Repetitive lifting to 50 lbs; occasional to 80 lbs.
• Customer service orientation; able to work with minimal supervision; organized and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Order and stock beer, wine and liquor products.
• Set pricing and manage product rotation.
• Merchandise displays and maintain backstock controls.
• Record keeping and inventory management; scanner maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer relations and suggestive selling.
