Job summary

Lowe's Foods is seeking a Beer Den/Wine Clerk to support in-store beer and wine operations and guest engagement. You'll educate guests, maintain displays, and coordinate tastings, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and brand standards.

The role requires strong communication, a friendly personality, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. 21+ age is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of beer and wine products and customer needs.
• Familiar with ALE laws governing sale and purchase.
• Strong sales, communication and guest service skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Educate guests on product attributes and guide for needs.
• Display and maintain marketing materials, signage, prices.
• Maintain sanitation and appearance of Beer Den/Wine.
• Work with category managers and suppliers for pricing and selection.
• Train Beer Den/Wine clerks and ensure information availability.
• Conduct tastings and in-store demos or promotions.
• Follow state laws governing sampling, sale and purchasing.
• Wash and prepare growlers, fill growlers.
• Maintain inventory of growlers, glass, lids and supplies.
• Announce specials on the PA system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
