Job summary

Hangar 24 Craft Brewery LLC in Irvine, CA is seeking a part-time Beer Server to create a welcoming taproom experience, float between stations, and assist with events and busy shifts.

You will greet guests, take and deliver orders, serve Hangar 24 beer and wine, check IDs, and process payments. Work closely with Beertenders, expo and kitchen to keep service moving smoothly.

Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and work evenings/weekends during events and holidays.

Qualifications

• Customer-service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Friendly, confident, and able to engage a wide range of guests.
• Organized and positive in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communicator who works well in a team.
• Interest in craft beer and learning Hangar 24 offerings.
• Able to obtain California Responsible Beverage Service certification.
• Able to meet legal requirements for serving alcohol.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, events.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide attentive service in the taproom.

As a Beer Server, you’ll help create a welcoming, high-energy taproom experience that keeps guests coming back. You’ll float throughout the space, connect with guests, serve Hangar 24 beer and wine, and work alongside a Beertender to keep service moving smoothly during busy shifts, events, and entertainment.

What You’ll Spend Your Time Doing

• Greeting guests and providing friendly, attentive service throughout the taproom
• Taking and processing food and beverage orders
• Delivering food and beverages to guests
• Answering questions about Hangar 24’s beer and food offerings
• Checking identification and following responsible alcohol-service requirements
• Processing payments accurately through the point-of-sale system
• Supporting live entertainment, private events, and busy service periods
• Keeping guest and service areas clean, stocked, and organized
• Communicating with Bartenders, Expo, the kitchen, and other Front of House team members
• Jumping in wherever needed to keep service moving smoothly

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Previous restaurant, brewery, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred
• Friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting with a wide range of guests
• Able to stay organized and positive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communicator who works well as part of a team
• Interested in craft beer and willing to learn about Hangar 24’s offerings
• Able to obtain and maintain California Responsible Beverage Service certification
• Must meet all legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
• Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, events, and other peak business periods
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
