Job summary

Premium Distributors of Virginia is seeking a full-time route merchandiser to travel 5 days a week, including weekends, starting at 6:00 AM. The role includes stocking, displaying, and rotating products at local stores with a focus on accurate merchandising, routing efficiency, and documentation using company systems.

Qualifications

• Reliable personal automobile transportation required.
• Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting company/state minimums.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs for keg handling and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets to stock, display, and rotate products across routes.
• Transport product between backroom and display floor using pallet jack or hand truck.
• Use company tech for routing compliance and efficiency.
• Complete merchandising checkouts and upload photos documenting execution.
• Maintain and organize backstock to support inventory and freshness.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.

• Company: Premium Distributors of Virginia
• Route: Luray/Woodstock, VA
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• Shift: 5 days/week, weekends required, 6:00 AM start (Full-Time only)
• Pay: $19.50/hr starting + overtime + monthly car allowance & mileage reimbursement

Position Responsibilities:

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck
• Use company‑issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring
• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts
• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.
• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds when handling keg products or operating pallet jacks and loading tools
• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree
