Job summary

Reyes Family of Businesses is seeking a route merchandiser for the Fredericksburg, VA area to stock, display, and rotate products at grocery and beverage outlets. You will travel to local stores using company systems and tools, and maintain backstock and displays on assigned routes.

The role requires a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work 5 days per week, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation with a valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting company/state requirements.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs when handling keg products or pallet jacks.
• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper stocking, display, and rotation on assigned routes.
• Transport product between backroom and display floor using pallet jack or hand truck.
• Use company systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring.
• Complete merchandising checkouts and upload photos documenting execution in accounts.
• Maintain and organize backstock areas to support inventory levels and freshness.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Company: Premium Distributors of VA
• Route: Fredericksburg, VA
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• Shift: 5 days/week, weekends required, 6:00 AM start (Full-Time only)
• Pay: $19.00/hr starting + overtime + monthly car allowance & mileage reimbursement

Position Responsibilities:

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck
• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring
• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts
• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.
• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds when handling keg products or operating pallet jacks and loading tools
• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree
