Job summary

Premium Distributors of Virginia in Vienna, VA is hiring a full-time merchandiser to travel to local grocery stores and beverage outlets, stock and rotate products, and ensure displays are current. You will transport items using pallet jacks, use company routing systems, and document execution with photos.

Requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Role includes a monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement, with benefits and growth opportunities after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly, up to 170 lbs for keg handling.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets to stock, display, rotate products on routes.
• Move products between backroom and display floor with pallet jack or hand truck.
• Use routing systems for efficiency and account monitoring.
• Complete merchandising checkouts and upload photos documenting execution.
• Organize backstock areas to maintain inventory levels and freshness.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Route: Vienna/Oakton , VA

• Shift: 5 days/week, weekends required, 6:00 AM start (Full-Time only)




• Pay: $19.50/hr starting + overtime + monthly car allowance & mileage reimbursement

Position Responsibilities:

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes




• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck




• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring




• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts




• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness




• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.




• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.




• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds when handling keg products or operating pallet jacks and loading tools




• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/General Education Degree
