Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a team member to facilitate orders, receive, store, and stock items at our Whitehall store. You will check dates, track loss from damage, and assist with department tasks as needed, contributing to a smooth operation and great customer service.

The role includes stocking, handling customer purchases, verifying ID for alcohol sales, and adhering to state limits. Physical requirements and safety compliance are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must be of minimum age as required by state Liquor code

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare for duties while complying with PPE requirements.
• Complete orders, receive, store, and stock items, check dates, and monitor items going out of code.
• Set up and stock end caps and displays, set up new program displays, and perform resets.
• Handle customer transactions and purchases at the register, ensuring customer is of age when purchasing the alcoholic product and validating IDs.
