Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring at our Norristown location to join the store operations team. The role focuses on facilitating orders, receiving, storing, stocking items, and ensuring product dates and codes are accurate.

You will also set up displays, manage end caps, and assist customers at the register, including verifying ages for alcohol sales and upholding state limits. This position emphasizes teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must be of minimum age as required by state Liquor code

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule, verify equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties.
• Complete orders, receive, store, stock items, check dates, track items going out of code, and perform department tasks as needed.
• Set up and stock end caps and displays, set up new program displays, and perform resets.
• Flatten cartons, load them onto the bailer, and transport as required.
• Handle customer transactions and purchases at the register, validating ID for alcohol purchases and following state limits.
