Job summary

The GIANT Company in Hanover, PA is seeking a store team member to support daily operations including receiving, stocking, and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help keep shelves stocked, displays fresh, and promotions current while upholding safety and store policies.

Primary tasks include processing orders, maintaining stock accuracy, and validating customer ages for alcohol purchases.

Qualifications

• Must be of minimum age as required by state Liquor code

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare for duties, ensuring PPE requirements are met.
• Complete orders, receive, store, and stock items, check dates, track items going out of code, and perform department tasks as needed.
• Set up and stock end caps and displays, set up new program displays, and perform resets.
• Cut or flatten cardboard cartons, load onto trolleys, and take them to the bailer.
• Handle customer transactions at the register, verify age for alcoholic products, validate ID, and follow state limits on alcohol purchases.
