Job summary

Ohiocraftbeer is seeking a Beer Ambassador to represent our brewery, grow our presence, and build lasting relationships with customers and retail partners in the Westlake area.

You’ll spend time outside the brewery connecting with customers, developing partnerships, and managing deliveries while identifying new opportunities to expand our business. This role is fast-paced, rewarding, and requires strong communication and a passion for craft beer.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of customer-facing sales experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and promotions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key on-premise and off-premise accounts.
• Achieve sales and distribution goals within the assigned territory.
• Represent the brewery at events, promotions, festivals, and tastings.
• Plan, track, and manage event and expense budgets.
• Manage customer orders and deliveries from start to finish, ensuring exceptional service throughout the process.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop prospective customer relationships.
• Collaborate with brewery staff to support sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

As a Beer Ambassador, you’ll spend time outside the brewery connecting with customers, developing partnerships, managing deliveries, and identifying new opportunities to expand our business. Performance Requirements

• Operate a computer, mobile devices, and other position-related technology.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, distributors, and other business partners.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and transport brewery products, displays, and promotional materials as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to access customer locations, event venues, and brewery facilities.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift while performing job duties.
• Ability to read printed and digital materials.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone.
• Frequently lift and move cases of beer, kegs, display materials, and other equipment
• Occasionally work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Travel approximately 90% of the time within the assigned territory, including customer accounts, event locations, and the brewery.

Pay: $40,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
