Job summary

DemKota Ranch Beef in Aberdeen, SD is seeking an entry-level Trim Line Production Worker to join our beef processing team. You will trim, prepare, and process beef products on the production line following our quality and safety standards.

The role requires learning knife-handling techniques, maintaining speed and accuracy, and working with a team in a cold, noisy facility while wearing PPE. Weekend shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat processing or production preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn trimming and knife-handling techniques.
• Safe, detail-oriented work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Team player with reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Flexibility to work scheduled shifts, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Trim excess fat, tissue, and other material from beef products according to product specifications.
• Use knives and other production tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect products for quality and ensure they meet company and customer specifications.
• Maintain required production speed while performing accurate and consistent work.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and quality-control procedures.
• Follow all company safety policies and properly use required PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Identify and report product quality, equipment, or safety concerns to a supervisor.
• Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Follow supervisor and Team Lead instructions and perform other production duties as assigned.
