Qualifications

• Ability to sharpen a knife and maintain a sharp knife.
• Willingness to learn anatomy, physiology and pathological disease processes
• Must be detail oriented and disciplined

• Ability to lift, push, and pull product repetitively
• Work effectively in a TEAM atmosphere
• All other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Beef Modernization Sorters work closely with harvest floor departments including USDA-FSIS Consumer Safety Inspectors.
• Must train/educate others during intensive recurring training.
• Observe and perform precision knife cuts to support quality and safety decisions.
