Job summary

Creekstone is seeking college students for a 10-12 week paid Summer Internship with housing included. Interns will work on a specified project within a department that yields educational and real business outcomes.

At the end of the internship, each participant will present to the Board of Managers to explain their experience, lessons learned, and impact. A mentor will be assigned to assist with navigating the beef manufacturing environment and to provide additional guidance throughout the

Qualifications

• Current college student at Sophomore to Senior level.
• GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Ability to work well with others across teams.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain good relationships through effective communication.
• Good common sense and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute 1 business project with guidance from department manager.
• Document internship activities and outcomes.
• Learn about the beef industry, Creekstone, and the assigned department.
• Create and deliver a presentation recapping successes and challenges.
• Communicate clearly and professionally at all times.
• Present as a competent young professional focused on career goals.
• Self-advocate when additional resources or support are needed.
• Be punctual and efficient with time.
