Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a Beef Modernization Supervisor to assist the Technical Services Superintendent in achieving Food Safety and Quality Assurance objectives on the harvest floor. This role requires expertise in HACCP, GMP, SSOP, SAFE, and USDA regulations, and will lead the Food Safety team to drive continuous improvement in safety and product quality.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of SSOP, GMP, SAFE, Animal Handling, and HACCP programs.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant QA/HACCP experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Drive food safety initiatives across the harvest floor
• Ensure Beef Modernization functions operate safely and meet food safety requirements
• Lead Beef Modernization personnel with ongoing training and development
• Train Sorter personnel on bovine anatomy, physiology, and contamination
• Review daily/weekly plant data including HACCP trends and microbial data
• Coordinate staffing to fill vacancies and minimize turnover
• Audit and ensure compliance with USDA requirements
