Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking workers for a beef cattle farming operation. Responsibilities include feeding and watering livestock, monitoring water supplies, and moving cattle between pastures and enclosures. You will also assist with basic health checks and maintaining equipment and facilities.

Role requires basic experience (1 month), ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and the capacity to work in extreme temperatures. English is required; CDL not necessarily needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 month of experience required.
• Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Must have verifiable experience for physically demanding tasks.
• Must speak English.
• Adhere to biosecurity, company policies and food safety regulations.
• Some roles may require a valid license within 30 days and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock and monitor supplies.
• Herd livestock to pastures or to enclosures and examine animals for illness or injury.
• Move equipment or livestock between locations on the farm.
• Clean stalls, pens, and equipment and maintain facilities.
• Perform duties related to reproduction and artificial inseminations as needed.
• Operate feed wagons and respond to farm transport needs.
