Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Screen self-pay patients for eligibility in governmental and non-governmental programs at the hospital bedside.
• Record and maintain complete documentation of activities in the Patient Accounting environment.
• Perform financial clearance, including collections, and prepare accounts for Financial Assistance review.
• Follow up on Government applications to ensure timely processing and communicate with patients and hospital staff.
• Conduct field visits for skip tracing and assist patients with required documents.
• Notify hospital staff of screening determinations and outcomes via verbal and written communication.
