Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital seeks a bedside nutrition services professional to support patient meals and dietary needs. You will work with clinical teams to modify meal selections per physician orders and document nutrition care using our ordering platforms.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate meal deliveries, communicating needs to room service, and delivering exceptional patient service while adhering to modified diet guidelines.

Qualifications

• Food handler permit required.
• Experience in food service or cashier roles preferred.
• Experience with hospital food service or patient meals preferred.
• Familiarity with modified diets preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal selection for patients according to guidelines.
• Record and adjust patient meal orders per physician diet orders and guidelines.
• Collaborate with clinical team to ensure quality patient care.
• Utilize meal ordering platforms for nutrition care documentation and reports.
• Communicate patient needs to room service and related teams.
• Support room service call center and bedside connections.
• Deliver patient trays per policy to ensure safe, efficient service.
• Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions.
