Job summary

Free People is seeking a Vendor Management Coordinator to support daily operations within the beauty & wellness buying team. You will ensure merchandise delivery by coordinating with vendors, the distribution center and the buying team, while building key cross-functional relationships across the supply chain.

Ideal candidates communicate effectively, manage multiple systems, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to understand system interactions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency and proactive follow-through.
• Suggests opportunities for process improvements and efficiency.
• Works well with others and offers help during crunch times.
• Retail inventory software experience is a plus.
• Customer service or prior retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• SKU creation, GTIN management and PO entry across systems.
• Track and organize purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate PO changes to Buying/Planning and update tracking.
• Coordinate DC communication and follow up on POs.
• Execute RTVs, retickets, and price changes with teams.
• Monitor receipts against OTB and adjust orders with planning.
• Manage DTC flags, hazmat and shipping restrictions.
• Coordinate time-sensitive deliveries for events and seasonality.
• Assist in invoice corrections with Accounts Payable.
• Onboard new vendors with Vendor Relations and monitor compliance.
• Collaborate with Buying, Planning and Allocation toward goals.
• Become the go-to resource for product launches and samples.
• Request samples timely for PR, web photo, and meetings.
