Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Beauty Consultant to maximize sales and enhance the in-store beauty experience. You will greet customers, perform skin consultations, demonstrate products, and promote total Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care while maintaining department standards.

You will lead demos and events, cross-sell related items, and support omni-channel engagement. The role requires a friendly, professional demeanor and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and retail sales experience or proven ability to sell beauty products.
• Experience meeting sales goals or proactively selling beauty/cosmetics with strong customer care.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through in-store demos and consultations; use tools like Skin Hydrometer and tablet.
• Lead in-store events to promote brand awareness and loyalty of Owned Brands and total Beauty, Wellness and Personal Care.
• Build relationships with customers and provide authentic closure of interactions; support omni-channel engagement.
• Maintain department hygiene, stock testers, assist with promotions, and process sales at the register.
